I'm happy to announce the release of a new update for Zend Core for i5/OS.

This update includes:
  • PHP 5.2.13
    • Latest PHP version
    • Fixed security issues
      • Fixed safe_mode validation inside tempnam() when the directory path does not end with a /).
      • Fixed a possible open_basedir/safe_mode bypass in session extension identified by Grzegorz Stachowiak.
      • Improved LCG entropy.
      • All the above are taken from PHP.net's changelog, full log is available at: http://www.php.net/ChangeLog-5.php#5.2.13
    • CURL 7.20.0 - Latest CURL library
  • Apache 2.2.13 - Fixed security issues
Note: The Apache Web Server is not part of the Zend Core update mechanism. It is available for download in the Support FTP site:
