How to start a Zend Framework project?

Post by brake6 » Sat May 02, 2009 10:57 pm

Hello
I am about to see if I can learn myself how to use ZF. But I'm a little confused. There seems to be (too) many way to set up the files and folder at first:
- Using "New -> Zend Framework" in Zend Studio for Eclipse
- Using "Example -> Zend Framework" in Zend Studio for Eclipse
- Following the Quickstart guide at framework.zend.com

And then there are other ways in different tutorials and books (Zend Framework in Action ...). All of these methodes have the same folder structures but different files (bootstrap, config etc).

So, which one to follow? The best?

Regards, Magnus

Thanks for the link rampog

Actually, I find that site yesterday - and it seems very good. And, with ZF 1.8 you can use the Terminal (on Mac) to set up the folders and the bare files. Makes it a lot easier. ;)
