php extension on IBM i for IBM Web Sphere MQ client

Anybody here has use PHP on IBM i to communicate with IBM Web Sphere MQ? I find that there are two Web Sphere MQ client extension in PECL (SAM and mqseries). But, it seems that they are only for Linux and MS Windows. Also, Zend framework (I checked v1.10) only supports ActiveMQ.

I just think it is not beautiful to install ActiveMQ on IBM i, where we have IBM Web Sphere running already. Can we ask Zend and IBM to include support to Web Sphere MQ client extension in Zend Framework's Zend_Queue adapters?

Thank you for your reply! But, I can not find any guide about using PHP to call IBM Web Sphere MQ on IBM i platform. I am particularly looking for a PHP Web Sphere MQ client extension, which can be used on i5/OS.
