All,
I have a Linux (CentOS) box running Zend Server CE that I would like to connect back to an i Series box that's hosting some DB2 databases, so that our developers can use the DB2 databases when developing with PHP. Anyone have any experience with this? From what I understand, we need to purchase DB2 Connect to do so. Which version do I need?
Any assistance is appreciated.

We connect to our DB2 on z/OS from within PHP/Apache on CentOS, and for this purpose, the IBM "DB2 Connect Personal Edition" is sufficient enough for our needs.
We'd written a few PHP applications that connect to several of our DB2 subsystems on our z/OS LPARs.
We use IBM_DB2 extension as a DB2 driver for our PHP installation.
