Re: DB2 - library list

Hi Scott, I found that with Zend Server it is necessary to specify a user and password on the db2_connect/pconnect statements when using the i5_libl (not ideal, but that's how I got it to work). I created a very basic user profile for this task. You'll notice that a QSQSRVR job is kicked off with th...

Re: Zend Data Cache and Zend Monitor Error messages

I tried the reset as suggested. This did not eliminate the errors.

Zend Server Directives

I turned off the Zend Guard Loader, Zend Java Bridge, and Zend Job Queue extensions in the Zend Server management console. We don't plan to use these features initially, and therefore, there is no need for them to be running. I thought that the effect of this would be that the corresponding jobs for...

Zend Data Cache and Zend Monitor Error messages

I loaded Zend Server beta on our production partition. I already have it loaded on our test partition and all is good. On the production partition I get errors with the Zend Data Cache and Zend Monitor pieces. See the attachment for error messages. How do I fix this? Thanks, Tina ZendServer errors.p...

Re: DB2 - library list & ibm_db2 extension version?

I'm working with the Zend Server 5.0 beta which is setup a little different than the Zend Core referred to in the instructions. I found the Updates tab in the Management console. Unfortunately, I get an internal error message when I try to access this panel (I submitted a separate post to work throu...

Zend Server / Administration /Updates error

I'm trying to access the Updates panel in the Zend Server Administration console. I get the following error: Could not display the updates. An internal error has occurred. If this problem persists, go to the Zend Support Center at: http://www.zend.com/support-center How do I get past this error? Tha...

Re: DB2 - library list

Alan, I like your suggestion to utilize the "i5_libl" with the "i5_naming" in the db2 connection. I've tried this both using the adapter approach and using the db2_connect function directly. As far as I can tell it doesn't like the "i5_libl". I get the following error: PHP Error: db2_connect() [func...

DB2 - library list

I'm having trouble getting the library list functionality to work using the db2 adapter provided with ZendFramework. Would you provide me with an example of how this is accomplished in this environment using the db2 adapter?

Thanks,
Tina

Re: Globalization/UTF-8 Setup

The sql statement fails when a where clause is used at part of the statement. It doesn't seem to recognize the data in the file being queried. If I change the system value qccsid to 37 (rather than the default of 65535) and start the servers, the same sql statement works. I don't know that we want t...

Globalization/UTF-8 Setup

We are using tables that are setup with a CCSID of 1208 and will be using UTF-8. At some point these tables will contain data in languages other than English. Our system value for CCSID = 65535. I had to follow some procedures to get the conversion of data to occur in our Zend Core/Platform server. ...
