Toolkit/Server Looping Issue

Post by jord1322 » Thu May 07, 2015 9:24 pm

I noticed today, that going back at least the last month (maybe longer), that every thirty seconds (noticed on pages were the user does nothing for several minutes) it seems that the PHP script is re-executed, or at least the PHP Toolkit program calls are. The page does not reload or anything visible to the naked eye, but when one checks the debug log you can see that the PHP Toolkit program calls were each executed just as they are laid out in the PHP script on the current open page every thirty seconds while that page is opened. When the page is closed or the user goes to another page, those cease and if the user is now on a new page on the site the PHP Toolkit program calls for that page begin to do the same thing.

Is there a way to stop this? And, is there a reason for this? Or is this an anomaly. Thanks in advance!

Check the Apache access and error logs to see if the page is being repeatedly requested by a browser, or perhaps a 408 error reaching the browser.
