File system input or output error

Post by isaacsnk » Tue Jan 11, 2011 9:48 pm

Hi everyone,

I'm currently having issues when I'm trying to configure the FTP connection with the iSeries of our shop. After I've configured the connection in Zend Studio for i, I try to expand the FTP tree, but instead of giving me the list of files, it show the error: File Input or Output file system error. I'm using the org.eclipse.rse.ftp.parser.OS400 parser and in the console everything looks ok. I'm attaching the messages written in the console after I connect to the iSeries:

220 Connection will close if idle more than 5 minutes.

http://www.gateway400.org/documents/Gat ... BM%20i.pdf
Page 27 covers how to configure a FTP connection.
It was able to make a connection after making this change to the host:-
CHGFTPA NAMEFMT(*PATH) CURDIR(*HOMEDIR) LISTFMT(*UNIX)
I don't agree with this requirement, but that is a separate topic.
