Zend Studio i5 Edition Server Auto Detect Failure

Post by buster529 » Wed Mar 09, 2011 4:18 pm

Have installed Build ID: 20101027 of Zend Studio with license i.e. "Expires on: Never". Of course Zend Server with Controller is also on local development PC (running on Windows 7 with VM Ware *Gasp* for all you linux people ;-) ).

Problem is, upon startup of the IDE, the circled upward pointing arrow in the bottom of the frame which indicates a Zend Server has been detected is not functional. In addition, right-clicking in the empty white-space of the Servers tab to add a new server instance renders a dialog box inviting the user to download server plug-ins which do not include anything related to Zend. There are no other options anywhere to facilitate the definition of a Zend server.

Please advise about the remedy to the problem. Details will be imported so an abstract explanation won't help.
